even though apple does not support gigabit speeds with the snapdragon modem, the snapdragon is capable. can the functionality be turned on anyway?
Unfortunately not, I think it has been hardware limited. You do actually get slightly faster speeds according to here. I would have thought that if you could through software, a Jailbreak exploit would have tapped into this.
