Hello, I am from Venezuela so my english is not the best, I will try to explain myself. Yesterday I tried to replace mi iPhone 7 Plus battery and when opening the iPhone I pulled the screen too hard and I broke the screen flex and digitizer flex I realized that I have to buy new pieces, but I tried to make a test. I connected the iPhone to the computer to see if it gets recognized or not (with old and new battery) but it is not recognized by computer, my question is when I pulled it and broke the cables maybe I did damage another thing? or it is normal that the iPhone can’t turn on without the broken pieces Hope you can help me, best regards.

UPDATE. So after finding another working screen and digitizer (but screen broken) for testing with my device, it happened that actually it TURNED ON, yes, it is alive. The guy who helped my out whit this situation told me that the iPhone would not turn on without the screen. Hope this post can help somebody else. Thank you all for the answers.

I think it can but it will take a really long time for it to boot up like 5 minutes or more.

Yes it work without screen, just plug in your iphone to a computer and wait for few minutes to response.
