I run Windows7 Ultimate using Parallels5 on my MacBook. While running a virus scan with “Parallels Internet Security” application, it has discovered a Trojan Package: ‘packed.win32.tdss.z". Can this Trojan affect my Mac outside of the virtual machine? I tried ridding of the virus with the software that detected it, but was unsuccessful. Does anyone know what this virus does and how to rid of it?

Not at all, a not only is it impossible for anything to exit that VM, but windows code simply can’t execute on a mac, windows viruses work on windows, mac viruses work on macs. Imagine trying to open a windows application on a mac, just can’t work.
