Will an iPhone 6s screen fit on an iPhone 7 ? I shattered my screen and 6s replacement screens are way cheaper than iPhone 7 screens. Also, I’ve heard if you put a generic (non-apple) replacement screen on an iPhone 7, for some reason the home button no longer works. Help please !
Sorry, you cannot put a 6S screen on the iPhone 7; they are not compatible. For both the 6S and the 7, you must transfer your original home button to retain the Touch ID. For the iPhone 7, only an original button will even allow “click” to work.
