Can the screen on a Fit Bit Surge be replaced ???

todd, I recommend you read through the fitbit forum link below, may be eligible for one time free replacement on your watch. It is defiantly worth a try. Then use the second link to contact fitbit with your issue. Just try to talk nicely to the customer service rep’s. Good luck. I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button. https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Surge/Suhttp://help.fitbit.com/?l=en_US&cu=1&fs=

My Ionic cracked across one corner - out of the blue! Fitbit will do nothing except offer 25% off next one even though it is still under warranty. No trauma or abuse - an obvious material defect/design flaw and noted by others on their own blog. Why would I want to invest in something that doesn’t last 6 months?? Anyone want to join a class-action lawsuit?

If your Fitbit is out of warranty, by 1 day, 1 month or more, they will not replace it. They will offer you a 25% discount but that is it. And only on select trackers, not necessarily on the one you want - which was my case. So I decided to purchase mine somewhere else since this was the second tracker I purchased from them that broke 1 month out of warranty. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Now I will go elsewhere for a tracker.

Same problem. Screen developed a three way crack sitting on the bedside cabinet. This is obviously a major fault with the Fitbit. Tried talking to them but not interested. Just said I must have banged it on something. NOT TRUE . The item is not fit for purpose. Someone should sue them.

Amazing how all these people have cracked their screen by doing NOTHING. I am a Turbine mechanic and I wear my Alta HR at work all the time and it gets beat up and scratched and has NEVER cracked. Its hard to see the readout its so scratched up now and I just wanted to see if I could replace thew screen. Guess I’ll just buy a NEW one. 2 years of torture and still works great, just hard to read.
