I have an iphone 6 plus with a cracked screen and water damage. The phone was working with cracked screen before it was drowned. It fell in water and stopped working. It was kept aside from about an year now Can it be fixed? what parts need to be replaced? other than the screen
After a year, you’ll want to give it an ultrasonic bath. I do mine for about $60. You’ll have to check with a local repair shop, or maybe even send it through mail. Honestly, you’ll have to decide after that. How much electricity did you put into the phone after it got soaked? The more, the worse. If it needs board level work, then I wouldn’t bother paying for that, and getting the display replaced
For about a year, it will look ugly. Everything can be “repaired”, however maybe not economically repaired. I seriously doubt that this phone is worth repairing.
