Can a car blower motor work on high even when a fuse has blown? Update (04/16/2017) It is a nissan sunny fb14.

Hi, What is the make and model of the vehicle and what fuse has blown? Most blower circuits have 2 fuses. One that supplies power to the blower motor via the low and medium speed settings and the associated speed control resistor. The other fuse supplies the blower motor when the speed switch is on Hi. When the Hi speed is selected a relay operates which changes the blower motor power supply to another fuse. Remove the relay and see if the blower motor stops. There could be power feedback paths with the other fuse blown that allows the relay to operate when the switch is on the Hi setting.

@lakshan ,Lakshan, Could depend on year, make and model, options. Blower motor will not normally operate if there is a blown fuse on that blower circuit. If just have Hi speed, the blower motor resistor usually faulty(link below will show replacement) in North America the Nissan Sentra is the Sunny version. Good luck.
