Can these really cause the system to shut down randomly? Other than liquid damage on the board e.g shorted c7731 or something capacitor used for the ppbus_3v3s5 for example. Edit: Board number 820-3115 for reference.
No. White screen but not a shutdown. Were you getting any screen anomalies? @rany may know more about this and he should be getting up about this time in Lebanon. But it’s Easter Sunday and Passover. Hi, Normally your computer should start in any case. If your cable was damaged, the computer should display a logo with a file and a question mark (indicating no hard drive found). If the computer randomly shuts down, I would try to have a look at the battery. Does it also happen when the computer is connected to the charger? Hope that helps
