Chosen Solution
The battery is fully charged. (I tested two different batteries.) When I slide the on button, nothing happens. I’ve cleaned the contacts with alcohohol, with no change. What’s the next step? Update Thanks for your input. After cleaning the contacts and switching batteries again I got it to work. I checked with a multimeter and the one battery was a little low. So maybe, that threw me off.
try taking a look at this guide it may be the i/o board which apparently you can replace.. you could try testing the battery contacts with a multimeter to check that you have a circuit
i am also grateful! i was online to buy a new camera because mine wouldn’t turn on. i had charged and tried 3 different batteries, and nothing. the solution was so simple! thank you!!!
