Hi, I received a Lumix DMC-FX3 camera which had the lens jammed open due to sand getting in the mechanism. But it powered on then shutdown. I manged to disassemble the lens and clean out the sand. I tested the camera while still disassembled and it seemed to work - the lens mechanism was still a bit noisy so I decided to remove all the grease and clean it thoroughly before applying fresh grease. When I assembled the unit - it now longer powers on. There is no sign of life - no flashes from the LED no noise from the motor. I charged the battery and checked & cleaned all the connections with isopropyl - but still nothing. Completely dead. It seems to me like a protection fuse might have gone - but I can’t easily find on on the pcb. Does anybody have any experience of this camera? Or have the service manual for it? Thanks, Mark.
markiexxxx, here is the service manual. It does have the schematics, diagrams and parts list for your camera, hope this will help. Good Luck

Does anyone know where you can get the ‘Extension cables for servicing’ from? Testing is impossible with the circuitry all assembled :(
