My (I don’t know what to call him) has brain cancer. It causes him to have anger issues. He threw the camera into the wall. It literally made a nest cam shape hole. I plug it in and it doesn’t power on. The camera is slightly crooked inside the body. I want to take it apart and have looked at the ways to do so but how do I determine what’s not working? I could put it all back together but if it doesn’t work still where do I go from there?

@erica14 , Erica, I am very sorry that you are having this problem. Probably at best you can take the camera apart and look for broken/loose wires and loose components and try to re attach by soldering if that is what is found to be the issue. It does take considerable skill when solder on a board, to be careful not to damage other components. If not equipped to do this, perhaps have a friend/family member that could help with repair. If not wanting to attempt the repair, have a good local electronics/computer repair shop have a look, diagnose and estimate repair. Below is a disassembly link that may help. Good luck.
