i dropped my phone outside when it was raining and the water damage indicator shows red inside the phone. i changed the lcd and front camera assembly but i found out that my flash and both of my camera did not work. when i open my camera app, it only shows black screen for both rear and front camera. i used a known good front camera and still shows the same problem. i was wondering that can a bad rear camera module cause my flash and front camera to disfunction? thanks
Yes, if main camera doesn’t work, flash cannot be enabled either. First step would be trying replacing the rear camera.
