I factory reset my viking 2 tablet model number rct6603w47 but now I get this settingslocked message when I try to pick language how do I bypass or unlock the settings it is a display model from target is it possible to reprogram or bypass settings locked password
try the default password which should be 0530. you can usually find it online.
The password is different for each tablet. If you go to recovery logs in the reset, choose the top one and slowly scroll down and it will ro.build.version.sercuity_patch=2016-06-01. The settingslocked password is is those 8 numbers is what I found mine to be. So that everyone has the answers finally.
i used 20160502 for pro12

Sorry for bumping an old thread I have two of these Viking 2 10 inch that have same issue, but i tried the security patch date and and the date it was made but still locked..any help would be appreciated
Hi, You have 3 other options. In recovery logs look for ro.boot.hardware=mt**** use the 2 letters and 4 numbers you see. Next, ro.boot.serialnumber=*********** use the first 8 digits or the whole serial number. 3rd, ro.build.id=MRA58K use the letters an numbers exactly as they appear. Hope this helps you.
