Hello, I just replaced display on my iPhone 6s Plus and I did not disconnect battery and then I found that some components were burnt after finish. There is problem with display shadow in top left corner. Do you think it is just problem in these components or it is also damage backlight IC? Thanks
The iPhone 6s plus has two backlight circuits it would be hard to say what component has failed without examining it under a scope. I would rule out the screen first. The most likely component if not the screen would one the filters. When the filter becomes faulty after electrical damage it usually takes the pad with it so not only will you need to replace the filter but I suspect you would need to run a micro jumper. Two of the filters look alright. There is another filter on the other side of the connector that’s coated over. You will need to remove the coating. The other components are on the other side of the board. This is an easy circuit to diagnose if you have a multimeter and board view software.
