Got two faulty parts: Fuse and Resistor?? I have found the fuse (0402-HF SMD fuse) but not sure if the other is a resistor or what. Any ideas? At first, no display so I bridged the fuse. Now Im getting a solid grey screen so I assume this burnt part would solve it? First image is mine with bridged fuse and burnt part. Second image came from the internet. Red: Bridged Fuse Yellow: burnt part. what is that?

@sylar the part in the yellow circle is neither a resistor nor a capacitor. That is reference designator L9004 which is a 120ohm 1.5A inductor in a 0402 package. As for your fuse, it is never a good idea to bridge it that way since you are now having an unfused circuit and could run into multiple issues with that later on.

Those components are either a resistor or a capacitor depending on the circuitry. You would need the Schematic’s to determine exactly which. As for bypassing a fuse as you say you did that was a bad idea since turning the unit on could very well fry even more circuits. Worse you wouldn’t even know which ones were now bad also. Replacing the selected parts on your circuit board will also require special soldering equipment and 3M Soldering training. You would be better off getting a replacement board.
