After putting a new screen on my 5s it kept showing the bsod so I decided to try to restore the phone but about 8 seconds after the progress bar not moving it shows the bsod and then gos back into dfu mode! And on the computer it shows that “error 9” is the problem but I changed the port that I was using to a different one on it and bought a new cable and tried it but still shows “error 9” Any advice? Go to step 11 of this guide and compare the screw placement to the screws that you put back after the screen replacement. If you mixed them up, you could have caused long screw damage. To rule out other things, try to do a DFU restore (google it) with the front camera cable unplugged. What happens?
