I recently picked up a couple iPhone XRs to do screen repairs on - one of which is unresponsive to touch inputs and cannot be shut down. Can I still proceed with the repair, or do I have to wait for the battery to run down first?
You can go ahead with the repair. Just make sure you disconnect the battery flex before the screen flexes.
