HP Pavillion 9000. One of the two bevels which holds the screen onto the keyboard section is broken. Now the computer operates perfectly but the top (screen section) won’t close; thus, it is permanently stuck open. I am told it is a royal pain to make such a repair because there are five layers of “flats” comprising the screen section and these have to be disassembled in order to replace the bevel. Any thoughts?
