If I replace the glass back on my iPhone 8 will it still be water resistant, is the metal back just to replace the glass part Because that’s all I need to repair
No, it won’t have waterproofing, and there is no way to replace the glass non-destructively remove the glass, so I recommend taking it to Apple, my apologies for recommending it, but its the only good way to replace this, or a Apple Certified Service Provider, ACSP, I believe, to get this replaced and to restore your waterproofing.
