Hi. I have replaced broken digitizer with original screen and frame from disassembled phone. After connecting new screen the digitizer seems to not working. There are unresponsive vertical and horizontal zones. Does it mean that the new digitizer is broken or the mainboard?
Primary damage was located around back button. Update (12/29/2016) After checking second and third screen i know that it was digitizers fault.
Hi, Try another screen before assuming that the connector on the board is bad. Faulty parts can be received now and then, return the part and then try the new one, if it’s the same issue, then inspect the board. :-)
