I replaced a broken screen, and home button on iPhone 7+. Now the speakers, earpiece (speaker) and home button dont work. Also, it feels very hot and the batter life is significanly down (goes from full to dead in one day with little use). Did I totally screw my phone? Any help at al would be greatly appreciated.
Try disconnecting one part at a time to see when heat disappears, I’d start from front camera flat cable and then the home button/touch ID flex. You likely have a shorted part that needs to be double checked or replaced. iPhone 7 are a bit delicate but I wouldn’t be overly concerned at this stage.
