Chosen Solution
I recently purchased a WU-1A adapter so I can wirelessly upload pictures from my camera to my smartphone. When I tried to plug in the adapter to my camera, it appears the a/v out port on my camera is broken. How do I fix this? @hags82 It may be difficult to find a replacement. I’d start with disassembly and see if you can even get to it. Hope you got another camera to take lots of picture while you do so. that way we can follow you along. we’ll try to find a replacement part etc. This guide should help you to get there Nikon D3200 Motherboard Replacement Update (06/05/2019) @hags82 that looks like the part that moves the contact out of the way to close the connection. If you have a small screwdriver see if you can push it to the outside. BTW the pins on your micro USB look kind of “chewed up” Not sure if that is your picture or if it is really the connector.
