2018 MBPro A1989 - the bottom of the case is warped but my battery seems good. Holds a charge and MBP functions normally. I’ve seen articles about batteries swelling and needing replacement. How can i be sure what i need to fix this? Update (04/27/2022) Hi Mayer, see screenshot.

I would use the MacBook until the battery is dead, and then open it up and replace the battery. It is very likely that the battery is swollen, and if it is, it shouldn’t be used. Using the battery until it’s dead discharges it so that it’s safer to remove.
