It’s an odd situation where both cameras are not working at the same time. We had the screen repaired and since then when i go into the camera app, it remains black. It’s odd b/c I can switch between cameras in the app but it’s all dark. Are the cameras connected to the same location somewhere on the board or am I missing something? The repair guy said it was a software issue that if the apple product didn’t recognize an OEM part it would stop working. Any thoughts on this?
Try disconnecting one camera at a time. I would start with the front one first as this would have been the only one touched during the screen swap. If the rear camera starts to work with the front one disconnected you have found the problem.
