Chosen Solution
Heya folks, I encountered a pretty strange problem… Following problem; Iphone 7 display replacement. (With original home button it bootloops) So i took the home button from another device and it suddenly booted, ofc the touch wasnt working. So i proceeded to check the apparently defective home button in the other device and it booted aswell.. So basically both home buttons do work, but the original one, (on the device with screen replacement) makes the device bootloop (apple logo flashing and then restarting). Does anyone have a idea what it could be? Thanks in advance
Probably just a defective screen. I have had a few before with a defective extension cable from the screen to the home button. Note that the phone should boot up normally with just the screen and home button installed with the front cam cable unplugged.
