Chosen Solution
So, I have a friends iPhone 7 they gave up on (Actually it was their moms first). Despite all the problems it has it still looks pretty clean and it let me reset it. Looks like someone changed the screen, even the buttons still work… it is missing a screw for the battery cover.. would that cause the bootloop even after reset? Should I just Junk it? lol, Still fixable ?
I certainly wouldn’t junk an iPhone 7 without at least trying to fix it. A lot of things can cause boot loops and because this phone was previously repaired, there is probably a link between the two. You really should explain more about the bend and what exactly is “a little messed up”. Perhaps a picture would be helpful. Unless you have some modular issue, such as a weak battery or defective screen, this phone will most likely have to be looked at by an experienced micro-solderer.
