I replaced a badly damaged screen and I don’t get anything when I try to power it on but when I connect a lightning cable I just get a boot loop. I have already tried to disconnect the proximity sensor and turn it on and it still doesn’t work. Any idea?
Sounds like a battery problem. If the battery was working before you will need to check the battery connector on the logic board. These have a habit of failing due to one of the pins being pushed into the plastic. There are also some components around the battery connector that if nudged could cause this issue. You could also try putting pressure on the top of the battery flex connector and see if it boots. If the battery wasn’t very good before the screen replacement I would replace the battery.
