fixing for a friends he say to me that is dropped and after gone on sleep, never come back and won’t boot anymore. when u press power button, stars with fan spin and black screen and no more just gradual fan acceleration i tried: other magsafe = same external monitor = same i try with no ram = no beep no battery= same no hd = same im on 99% logic board issue (seems like the classical gpu failure, but strange it was dropped..) any suggestions are appreciate
It’s not passing the initial POST checks if it is not beeping without RAM in. Check all the power rails to ensure they are present, especially ppvcore_s0_cpu. These are usually the worst of the bunch to solve, and is very likely to be CPU related. Good luck :)
Check pp1v5 and 1v5_GPU_REG - if it is a gpu panic, than u just have to replace the cap C9560
