The screw hole in the boiler has stripped out. is there a replacement for the brass fitting in the middle of it? I saw how you removed it with the flat washer and a pair of pliers. Thank you for your answer. Peter in Portland

Where did you see how the fitting was removed with a washer and pliers? I have the same problem. The screw hole appears that it’s stripped, although I know it isn’t, it was never removed, it just fell out one day; due to corrision I suspect. But I can’t figure out how to remove it.
