On my Dell Latitude E6430 (Windows 10 Home x64 ) I cant find a setting for Bluetooth. In the BIOS Bluetooth is enabled. When I try to install drivers it says activate Bluetooth using wireless switch, but the switch is on.
Hi, Try uninstalling the Bluetooth device in Device Manager (right click on Bluetooth entry) and restart the computer to check if it finds and installs “new” hardware If it still doesn’t work, here’s a link to the service manual for your computer. Scroll to p.27 to view the necessary pre-requisite steps and then the procedure to remove the Bluetooth card. This is just to see if it is seated correctly.

The bluetooth only works when wifi switch is on, can’t use it when connected with ethernet. I had same issues mentioned before, I found the bluetooth in hidden devices and I enabled it. Once enabled, I could turn it on and off moving the wifi switch and clicking the option turning the adapter on and off. Too much trouble, especially because I use ethernet, so I just ordered a bluetooth adapter.
There are 3 most common reasons if your dell Bluetooth driver not working - Too many devices are connectedCorrupt it outdated Bluetooth driverDevice not in range or not in pairing mode I can suggest you two methods - Manual or Automatic. Manual processes it time-consuming and there is a chance for mistakes. I will recommmend for the automatic process, This is less time-consuming and, when your drivers will be outdated, you will get a notification to udate drivers automatically.
