“my i mac 27 when using start up disk only goes to when it asks where you would like operating system downloaded too…my problem is there is no options available…”
This is rather simple When you go into the install, go up on the top to utilities and then to Disk Utility. When your there, pick your hard drive, go to the erase tab, name the hard drive what you want and make sure it says Mac OS Extended Journaled After all that is good hit the erase and then you should be able to install the OS on the drive.
