Hi,iv recently replaced a screen on 6s plus.it didn’t turn on after but still rang!iv just gone to take a look at it again and the charge symbol has come on the screen,I’m currently charging it.does this mean the screen works and the repair was a success??the symbol didn’t come on before.thanks.
Probably successful repair. Usually these issues on 6s and 6s plus models usually result in backlight circuit needing repair due to the battery being still connected and screen was unplugged / plugged from logic board which can result in the backlight circuit getting blown. And for that to be fixed it would require microsoldering. If your battery was unplugged prior to repair that luckily for you that is definitely not the problem. Anyway since you see low battery logo, backlight is fine on your phone.
