Chosen Solution
I have Samsung ES70- 12.2 megapixels and did not use it long time 1-2 years.I recharged and everything looks OK, screen and menu and all different menu screens working OK, but on ALL screen display I see right in the middle,an one black ball/spot of 1 centimeter. I did format and reset to factory settings, took out battery and memory card, then always that black “black sun”in the middle. Why, and how to repair??
Hi, It may be an intermittent connection to the display (or in the display itself), so that the pixels are not being turned on Here’s a link to a video that shows how to replace the LCD screen in the camera. At 6:34 minutes into the video the LCD display cable connection to the motherboard is clearly visible. Without a schematic of the cable connections it is hard to tell which connections are the problem ones (if it is at this point). Unfortunately the only way to determine if the problem is in the display or in the motherboard is to replace the display and check if the problem still occurs.
