Model Number for Samsung Tv Is : UN60J6200AF Pretty much what’s going on is, The Screen is Completely Black, Sound is Coming out. I Turned all the lights off in my Place, Took a flash light, Did the Flash Light test. I hit settings i can See The Settings and everything on there, I did try and turn up the Backlight Settings, And Brightness Nothing happened. Watching Videos they said lay in On its face, I did and they said you’d Be able to see the back lights were on, I did not see any back lights. Now from the Research i have done, People are saying its More then likely the Back Light Inverter, I cannot find the back light Inverer, Any Advice would Help. Thank you!
@oddlypixelated your TV does not have an inverter per se. The backlight is powered by the power supply and controlled by the mainboard. Remove the back from your TV and disconnect the cable going from the power supply to the main board. Then turn your TV on. See if the backlight is now on. If so, you are most likely having a main board issue. If it does not turn on it could be a power supply board issue. Measure the voltages on your power board connectors and compare those with the values printed on the board. Let us know what those values are.
