I’m pretty sure I have the Acer Aspire 5740. I connect the charger to the computer then it just loads onto the acer loading screen for less than a second, then it turns to a black screen and whenever I click buttons on the computer it makes a noise.
Follow this guide to remove the hard drive from your computer. Reassemble the computer and plug in the AC adapter. Press the power button. What happens?
