Iv got an ipad air . Not had any previous repairs. Its got black screen, no visuals, it allows you to put it in dfu mode and pc detects it but any attempt to restore causes error 2005 . All thruout restore theres still no visual on screen Anyone any ideas.
I doubt you will be able to solve this problem via software…it sounds like a hardware failure. Was it dropped recently? It could be a bad LCD or otherwise some other logic board failure which my be difficult to troubleshoot. An experienced micro-solderer could take a look at this to give you a better diagnostic.
