Chosen Solution
I have a iphone 4 (Verizon). It was lost for a while and we found it but now it has a black screen but functions otherwise fine. You can hold to light and see enough to work it. I have tried all the settings for brightness etc.. I have tried hard reset several times I have replaced it with a new screen and lcd still the same.. Advice please!!
If you have replaced screen and still no brightness then it’s the backlight coil that has blown and you will need a new coil soldered in
