The screen of LG model 42LM5800-TC, just went black, how can we fix this.

With the TV on, take a flashlight and shine it up close to the screen. If you can see the picture, your backlights are not coming on. This could be a bad driver board or an issue with the main board but it is likely just a few bad LEDs. If you don’t see any picture, it could be a number of other issues.
