Hi guys, Is there anyone who can tell me what to replace or what to do with my MacBook Air 11” which you can turn on and after not even 5 min the screen goes black and the cooling system starts off very loud. I went to the Apple Store and they said to replace the logic board… But as you know it is very expensive part. Is there a cheaper solution to fix or do? Thanks in advance!! I will attach a pic the last time The laptop lasted on more than 3 min
Apple is probably right in this case and you need a board replacement indeed, description points to a board issue. The good news is that the logic boards for that MBA are not expensive anymore, on the contrary, they would cost less than fixing your old one.
