i’ve just replaced my screen myself. after i connected the wires i checked the screen and it worked as it should. i then proceeded to put the screen in place but when i had done that my screen didnt work anymore. it just shoved a light dark color, like it was on but couldnt show anything. i tried to switch back to old screen again to see if it was my new screen that was the problem. but the old screen did the same. i’ve seen now that the is a proection film on the inside of the screen i hadn’t noticed before. could that be the cause of the problem? Replacement screens have a (typically) red plastic film protecting the backlight. It should be removed when you transfer the the backplate from the broken screen to the replacement screen. Leaving it on by mistake shouldn’t have any adverse effect though. What’s not clear from your question is what happened when you went from a working replacement screen (i checked the screen and it worked as it should) and a bad situation (i then proceeded to put the screen in place but … my screen didnt work anymore)? Did you remove it and put it back on or did you try to screw the cable bracket while it was powered on? Or was it something else? Depending on your answer, it could be a damaged backlight circuit or Long Screw Damage (putting the wrong screws in the wrong place on the cable bracket). Let us know.
maybe you have damaged any display capacitor or backlight filter while disconnecting lcd from connectors.backlight ways if you have multimeter and know basics of board repair then check picture above and see if get continuity on marked points.
