I replaced my iphone screen what caused actually a problem that no matter which display i place in (old and new one) it only shows up a blackscreen. I did everything like in the tutorial here but something happened that destroyed my phone !?
sounds like you’ve blown a backlight filter on the logic board. Look at your replacement screen—if you see three solder lines on the smaller backlight flex on the screen, then those should be covered with tape. Some low quality screens have these exposed. Once installed, if the exposed backlight solder joints touch the frame it will short the backlight voltage to ground essentially blowing a fuse on the motherboard. You’ll have to send it out for board repair. Other possibilites are damage to the LCD connector itself. jessa
