Yes its possible. Now, they have the backcover for the 3G here, but not the 3Gs. I dont know if they are interchangeable or not, but heres the link to the part: iPhone 3G Rear Case Here’s the installation guide: iPhone 3G Rear Case Replacement

Comparing the two repair guides for the 3G and the 3Gs, I’d say that the two back panels are interchangeable. I think you should be able to use the part and guide that Majesty linked in order to replace your back panel.

Hi, i also like to change the back of a 3G from black to white. Now i need to know what parts i need.

  1. iPhone 3G Rear Case incl. silver bezel
  2. iPhone 3G SIM Tray
  3. iPhone 3G Mute Button Do i also need the camera holder? Or is it possible to take the old one? Greets Chris
