iMac Intel 20’’ EMC 2133 2GHz CPU 4GB memory but usually only has less than 1gb free 250GB HDD which of the three component should I upgrade to get the best direct improvement on my imac. Should I upgrade: 2.4GHz CPU 6GB memory larger HDD or SSD? I don’t need my iMac to run intensive software or gaming, just normal home and office use. I have noticed a very slow startup time which takes about 1 minute. Also, it is a bit laggy when running multiple softwares Thanks

I would hold off on the CPU as that’s normally not the issue. I would get the ram and an SSD as those (especially the SSD) can make a MASSIVE difference in how the computer runs. Do the ram first as its cheap, easy and can make a difference, if its not fast enough, do the SSD.
