Chosen Solution
One night at a party someone spilled beer on my keyboard and the table that the MBP was sitting on (Ok, it was me that spilled the beer.) Anyways, I let it sit overnight and dry. The next day my MBP wouldn’t boot up so I took it to an Apple Store and theg sent it off somewhere. They said it had liquid damage and it would cost over 1k, decided they should just send it back. This happene about a year ago now and decided to try and boot it up,same result. Any chance that cleaning it now with alcohol or something similar, maybe soaking it in something, would make it work?
Two chances - slim & none. Over time corrosion sets in, blown components don’t repair themselves. You might be able to part it out and use the money towards a replacement. If this answer was helpful please remember to return an mark it Accepted.
