Solved Battery Seems To Keep Draining Ipod Classic

My computer acknowledges that the iPod is connected and it signals that it is charging. It also syncs music very well and also indicates charging on my Actimate docking station. But when I disconnect it, the battery seems to keep draining. And when I connect it to my Apple USB 12w adapter, it doesn’t indicated charging or anything. I also bought a new USB adapter. Please help —–
