I’ve seen some non-oem batteries reporting steady values at Battery Sensor 1 and Battery Sensor 2, it never changes. TB1T and TB2T respectively from SMC. I never tried ifixit batteries, does anybody knows if it happens the same ? Unfortunately ifixit support doesn’t respond to this technical question regarding their batteries. Impossible to know without trying one ifixit battery. Case closed.
Sorry, I don’t find the signals within the schematics of this model. Remember not all of the sensors Apple had planned went into the production model. In addition, some lines are fused lines that if they break sets SMC off. Basically not a variable temp sensor at all. I think that is the case here.
