When the battery is replaced, should the “battery health” item in the settings change to a certain percentage? It was 83% before the replacement, now it says service.
The battery health feature in iOS does not read aftermarket batteries, that is why it says “service:” The battery is still fine so there is no need to worry about it. The best way to see the health of a battery is to use a battery utility, such as coconutBattery (for Mac) or 3uTools (for Windows). If this concerns you, please contact iFixit support.
