replaced my battery but when turn it on, only get lines (some horizontal across top and vertical top to bottom) when charging, the top inch of the pnone gets quite hot. siri will talk when push home button.Tried my old battery but now it does the same thing. By what I read it is in the connectors but I checked them twice for good contact. Do you have any suggestions and will it do me any good to take the phone to a repair shop?Thank you
It appears you may have damaged the screen during the repair. Take a closer look at the screen flexes to see if there are any tears or other obvious damage. It doesn’t take much of a tear, even less than a mm will cause issues. A repair shop will be able to try a replacement screen to see if that solves the issue.
