I recently replaced a battery on my G4 plus (Motorola battery, not aftermarket), but now it’s not showing that it’s taking a charge. I let it charge all night, but it never showed that it went up past 20%. Should I let it keep charging? Or should I suspect the new battery is faulty or there’s an error with the connection to the board?
Any of that is possible, as well as the possibility something else was damaged during install. I would try reconnecting your battery, and if your problem persists, try the old battery again and see if it charges normally.
