Hi there! I have changed the thermal paste and upgraded the RAM of my two MacBook Pro “13 Mid 2012. Everything seems to go OK, except for one of them. After mounting everything in the right place, the computer boots normally, but the battery does not charge. The led in the charger doesn’t light. I have checked the battery connection and seems OK, even if I unplug the charger the computer continues running with it charge. I have also reseted the SMC. Might I have messed something from the DC IN? Thank you in advance.

I realised that I had slightly cut a cable from the jack power board when mounting back the logic board. So, I need to replace this component or maybe do some soldering work.

No, the DC in board is working perfectly if the computer is turning on. When you say the battery does not charge, do you mean that there is no light on the charger? Does it only stay green? Does OS X show a percentage of the battery?
